The Wedding Experience at BMI

At Bear Mountain Inn + Barn , our process is easy. Build Your Own Package or enjoy the convenience of our thoughtfully designed Diamond Package - most popular among our couples. The all-inclusive Diamond Package is a Weekend Experience including a private lakeside property rental for 4-Days / 3-nights with lodging for 34 guests, our beautiful venue spaces, catering from our sister company for your rehearsal dinner/welcome drinks to your wedding day and complete with our Signature Breakfast each morning of your stay. Wedding Receptions

At Bear Mountain Inn + Barn you making the decision on where to have your reception is an easy one because you can’t go wrong. Our beautiful 200-year old barn is the perfect place to celebrate your recent vows and to be introduced as a married couple for the very first time! The barn can seat up to 150 guests for dinner and there is still room to party on the dance floor.

Hoping to invite a few more than that? While the barn comfortably seats 150 with a dance floor, our venue can hold events up to 250 guests with a tented reception. Tents are a great option, booked and rented by the booking party. Bear Mountain Inn + Barn does not offer a reception tent for use nor rental. Couples hosting a larger event celebrate their reception under a tent on our beautiful lawn and then move into the barn for an evening of dancing + dessert. We love welcoming our couples back to stay with us at the inn after their incredible wedding weekends. We have a large parking lot in the back of the property for guests. There is also room for buses, coaches, etc. from transportation companies to park during the event, if they choose to!
Our guest capacity is 250. For a guest count over 150, the couple is required to rent a tent for dinner. You can either have dancing outside under the tent or in the barn. For a guest count under 150, dinner + dancing can fit comfortably in the barn.
Our approach is one that involves talking through all of the ‘what ifs’ - this includes a rain plan! While our goal is to execute your original plan, sometimes Mother Nature has other ideas and we are ready for her. Most of our floor plans leave an empty space in the middle of the barn for the dance floor. Generally, should we need to move the ceremony inside, we create an aisle with chairs for your closest guests right on the dance floor. Your arbor is brought in also. If there is rain in the forecast, we are sure to check-in on this topic often so we are all prepared as best we can be.
Yes! Our catering serves are provided through MANE Catering and we require that you book your bar services right here through our venue!
We do! We have had the privilege of working with a fantastic group of local vendors providing everything from food to florals. Please find our Preferred Vendor List here.
We typically hold weddings until 11 PM. After that we suggest you head out to one of the awesome bars in the area for an after party!

Yes! This is included in all our packages here at the Bear Mountain Inn + Barn
During the peak season (May - November) we do not host Sunday weddings. Although if you are looking for a Sunday wedding, our off seasons dates might be a really good option for you!
We’ll provide you with a really comprehensive list of tried and trusted accommodations nearby. We have a wide range of hotels and inns nearby all within a 15-20 minute drive!
Absolutely! We love a good band. We might even have to peep in a time or two to hear them out!

YES! We love dogs. When you’re here you’ll meet our prince George. He’s a small yorkshire terrier and will be your best friend. Dogs are allowed in the Post + Beam apartment and the Sugar Maple Cottage here at Bear Mountain Inn + Barn!
